Eco Fair and Social Action Shabbat

Friday, April 8, 2022 7 Nisan 5782

7:00 PM - 9:00 PMTBE & YouTube
  • 7:00 pm Eco Fair
  • 7:30 pm Shabbat Worship with remarks from Joe Parisi

This year, our Social Action Shabbat will focus on climate action. We'll hear from Dane County Executive Joe Parisi about how climate change is impacting Dane County and what Dane County is doing to increase climate resilience and reduce countywide emissions. County Executive Parisi will summarize efforts within county government operations as well as community wide initiatives that create opportunities for businesses, nonprofits, local governments, and households to take action. You can read more about Mr. Parisi here. Dane County has been recognized as one of the top local governments in the world for its environmental transparency and action.

The evening begins at 7:00 pm with an Eco Fair in person in the Weinstein Community Court at TBE. Learn about some of the products and simple changes you can make in your daily life to help our planet and chat with members of our Environment and Climate Change Action Team. We hope you'll take on one or more of these changes and make them a part of your daily life to make a difference for our shared planet.

Our Social Action Shabbat worship begins at 7:30 pm, in person and on YouTube. To view this event on livestream, go to YouTube at http://www.tinyurl.com/TBEYTLivestream.
