Volunteers are needed to provide food for meals and help serve and clean up dinner at the Healing House, a recuperative care facility for homeless families.

Sunday June 16 between 5:00 and 7:00 pm: Volunteers will drop off breakfast and lunch items to be used that week, labeled and placed in the refrigerator. A shopping list will be provided to you by June 9.

Sunday, Tuesday, and Friday evenings, 5:00–7:00 pm: Volunteers are needed to prepare and drop off already cooked dinner, for up to 10 people, at the Healing House, serve dinner, and clean up the kitchen/dining area. There are two shifts, one to prepare and drop off the food at 5:00 pm and one to serve and clean up from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. Feel free to sign up for both if you'd like. Specific menu items will be assigned to you by June 9.

Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday evenings at 5:00 pm: Volunteers will drop off already cooked dinner, for up to 10 people, at the Healing House at 5:00 pm but do not need to stay, as Madison-area Urban Ministry staff will be responsible for heating up/serving dinner and cleaning up afterward. These dinner items can be delivered the night before if labeled clearly and placed in the refrigerator. Specific menu items will be assigned to you by June 9.
