TBE Wellness Series: Candlelight Yoga and Meditation

This class is the first in our TBE Wellness Series, in which we come together virtually to explore different ways to cope with stress and anxiety.  

Please join Dale Kaufman for a gentle, restoring candlelit yoga class. The class will consist of 45 minutes of gentle yoga postures followed by yoga nidra for relaxation.

Yin yoga postures are designed to open up the body by prolonged holds of deep stretching techniques, typically 2 to 5 minutes in length. They are performed on the ground and are designed to put both your body and your mind into a state of deep relaxation.

The second part of the class, yoga nidra, builds on the relaxed physical and mental state from the preceding postures. Yoga nidra, also known as yogic sleep, is a state of consciousness similar to the process of drifting off to sleep. It is a state in which the body is completely relaxed. 

This peaceful evening class will be the perfect end to your day.
