Urgency of Now Immigrant Action Team Meeting

TBE members are invited to a special meeting, organized by the Temple’s Urgency of Now Immigrant Action Team. This is the first meeting since the TBE Board of Trustees approved our becoming a supporting congregational member of the Dane Sanctuary Coalition. Take advantage of this important opportunity to learn about the New Sanctuary Movement from leaders in Dane County, get your questions answered, and hear how you can turn your interest into action. Rabbi Bonnie Margulis and Sergio González , an immigration historian, along with representatives of the Dane Sanctuary Coalition, will present multiple ways to become an active volunteer. At this meeting, you will have the opportunity to interact directly with coalition leaders and other TBE participants. Whether or not you have attended previous presentations or training sessions on immigrant rights, we urge you to attend this meeting and to consider serving as a member of our Dane Sanctuary Coalition Congregational Leadership Team. We look forward to seeing you at this important educational and organizational session.
