Join us for a Religious School Family Retreat with the theme of Jewish heroes: finding our superpower and how to use it to our advantage.

Moses’ heroic qualities literally moved a nation, and Golda Meir led a new government with her heroic qualities. We will explore biblical and modern heroes and identify in ourselves superpowers that can be used to our advantage to help make the world a better place.

Enjoy Shabbat services together on Friday evening and Saturday morning, along with wonderful community meals that are a perfect time to make new acquaintances and new friends. There will be activities for all ages to enjoy, including sledding (weather permitting) and a team trivia contest after Havdalah on Saturday evening.

Housing details: Children age 8 or older are invited to stay overnight in youth housing (Health Center building), which is close to the sleeping quarters for adults and younger kids. The building has multiple dorm-like rooms with bunk beds that sleep 4 to 8 kids per room and gender-neutral single-stall bathrooms with showering facilities. Adult chaperones will also be staying overnight with the children/teens in this building.

Registration fees:
Double occupancy (age 13+) in adult housing: $250
Single occupancy in adult housing: $275
Child age 8–18 in youth housing: $150
Child age 0–12 staying with parent/guardian in adult housing: $150
