Madison's Earth Day Electric Vehicle Parade

Thursday, April 22, 2021 10 Iyar 5781

1:30 PM - 2:30 PMBrittingham Park

Our Environment and Climate Change Action Team invites you to join Madison's Earth Day Electric Vehicle (EV) Parade on April 22!

Encourage our state's transition to clean transportation by participating in the parade or cheering it on. From 1:30 to 2:00 pm on Thursday, April 22, spectators can come to Brittingham Park to see the EVs, talk to owners, win a free T-shirt, and more!

The parade will travel through downtown from 2:00 to 2:30 pm, so you can also come to the Capitol Square (or anywhere along the route) to cheer on clean transportation for Wisconsin. Feel free to make signs and decorations celebrating Earth Day and zero emissions transportation.

If you drive an EV, or know someone who does, please join the parade itself! All electric cars and trucks are welcome. For more information and participant signup, see https://daneclimateaction.org/initiatives/Electric-Vehicles

Can't join the parade? Share a photo of your EV with the hashtag #DaneClimateAlly and tell everyone what you love about it!

This year's parade is organized by Renew Wisconsin, Slipstream, and the Dane County Office of Energy & Climate Change.

We'd love to cheer you on, so let us know if you'll be in the parade. If you own an EV and are willing to talk to other TBE congregants about it, or if you are considering one and would like to talk with other congregants who have one, please let us know.
