High Holy Day Program Greetings


Through your greetings printed in the program for our congregation’s online and in-person High Holy Day worship, the entire Temple Beth El family will receive your good wishes for the coming year. Funds support Temple Beth El Sisterhood’s philanthropies.

High Holy Day Food Drive

Yom Kippur involves fasting for one day, yet millions of Americans feel this hunger regularly. Every year at the High Holy Days, we ask the congregation to honor our fast by making a monetary contribution to hunger relief. Last year Temple Beth El was recognized as a bronze level sponsor of the Second Harvest and NBC15’s Share the Holidays drive, which distributes millions of pounds of food each year in southern Wisconsin, and our goal is to reach that level again this year. The funds will also support our hunger relief efforts through community partners such as food pantries, community centers, and schools. This year we hope to raise at least $16,000 to help address hunger in our community.
