7:45 Program - Bibliodrama
Re-imagine ways to explore the lessons of the Exodus in the custom of our ancestors using the improvisational role-playing technique called Bibliodrama. We’ll explore the meanings, messages and stories in the Exodus, Passover seder. Seeing one’s self as being personally liberated from Egypt requires an opportunity to place one’s self in the story, not to merely retell the story of others. Using the roles described or implied by the Biblical text we’ll expand upon the story of the Exodus, entering the story itself as we shed light on how to approach the Maggid (telling the story) part of the Passover seder. Come start preparing for your Passover. Passover begins in late March, so you’ll have plenty of time to incorporate what you learn into your seder experience. Facilitated by Nicole A. Jahr, director of lifelong learning.
