A Wicked, Wicked Purim Shpiel

6:30 PM - 7:30 PMSanctuaryCome in pink or green and celebrate Esther's heroism with through the music from one of the most beloved Broadway melodies as we retell the story of Esther defeating that "wicked, wicked man," Haman! We will begin at 5:30 pm with dinner in the Swarsensky Social Hall and then move into the sanctuary for Ma'ariv (evening service) and our Purim shpiel and M'gillah reading where our talented cast will be singing their way through our favorite Wicked songs. Then join us for a hamantaschen dessert.

Healing House provides respite care to persons experiencing homelessness who are recuperating from surgery, illness, or childbirth. TBE and other congregation volunteers cook meals for the residents and staff on a quarterly basis and drop them off at 5:00 pm each day at Healing House, 303 Lathrop St., Madison, WI 53726. Our team has signed up to provide meals the week of Feb 9 - Feb 15. Menu items (not specific recipes) will be assigned to you by Ruth Frawley, our dinner coordinator, the week before.
