Senior Shabbat Dinner with Rabbi Prosnit

Our annual Senior Shabbat Dinner is enriched with homemade kugels and desserts, lively discussions, special table hosts, a Q&A with Rabbi Jon Prosnit, and entrées catered from Adamah. It's a great time to catch up with longtime friends or make new ones. All ages are invited! It brings us joy to see multiple generations together.
5:30 pm Shabbat worship in the sanctuary, also livestreamed on YouTube
6:30 pm Family-style dinner in the Swarsensky Social Hall
7:30 pm Get to Know Rabbi Prosnit Q&A in the Swarsensky Social Hall
Dinner will include a choice of herb roasted chicken breast or vegan black bean "meatballs" with house made marinara sauce, plus homemade kugels and desserts; asparagus, carrot, green bean, and bell pepper medley; salad; and challah. $20 per person age 13 and up; $13 each for youth age 2–12; free for children under age 2. Please register by Thursday, August 15.
Before dinner, join us for Shabbat worship with Rabbi Prosnit and Cantor Niemi at 5:30 pm in the sanctuary. This will be the only Shabbat service that evening and will be livestreamed for those not able to join us in person.

Healing House provides respite care to persons experiencing homelessness who are recuperating from surgery, illness, or childbirth. TBE and other congregation volunteers cook meals for the residents and staff on a quarterly basis and drop them off at 5:00 pm each day at Healing House, 303 Lathrop St., Madison, WI 53726.
