Learn to play American Mah Jongg! Have you been eager to learn this fun, popular, and sociable game? Temple Beth El and Sisterhood are providing just such an opportunity for beginners ranging from non-players to those who have played a little bit and would like a refresher. Sue Center, with the help of Jean Landweber and Janet Frenz, will be leading the instruction and will familiarize you with the mah jongg tiles, and gently familiarize you with the basic terminology and rules of the game, as well as the National Mah Jongg League annual card that determines the hands that are played. This is for Temple members only.

Session one on January 12 will focus on instruction to learn the game, and we hope you will also attend on January 26 to practice and reinforce what you've learned. The January 26th session is a follow up for those who attended on January 12.

To participate, please register below by January 8. Space is limited to 16 people.
