Families with Young Children Apple Picking for Rosh Hashanah

3:30 PM - 5:00 PMSutter's Ridge, 2074 Sutter Drive, Mount Horeb WIJoin TBE young families for an afternoon at Sutter's Ridge as we prepare for Rosh Hashanah and the sweet new year to come. We'll hear a Rosh Hashanah story, pick apples, schmooze, and have some family fun on the farm. All ages are welcome.
Please purchase your apple-picking bags upon arrival, then meet us outside the Apple Cabin. We'll gather for a brief story time before we head out to explore the farm. There is no fee to attend, but families will be responsible for the cost of their own picked apples and treats.

Healing House provides respite care to persons experiencing homelessness who are recuperating from surgery, illness, or childbirth. TBE and other congregation volunteers cook meals for the residents and staff on a quarterly basis and drop them off at 5:00 pm each day at Healing House, 303 Lathrop St., Madison, WI 53726. Our team has signed up to provide meals the week of Oct. 27 - Nov. 2. Menu items (not specific recipes) will be assigned to you by Ruth Frawley, our dinner coordinator, the week before.
