We’d love to have you volunteer for Food-A-Rama, TBE Sisterhood’s annual Election Day deli-style luncheon! We need your help for cabbage soup making, matzah ball cooking, chicken soup making, chicken soup packaging, cookie baking, chopped liver cooking, preparing orders for pickup, sandwich making, assembling orders, and local delivery (we need drivers this year!). You’ll find more details about all of these on the Google sign-up sheet. As details get solidified, we’ll enter updates there and notify anyone who has already signed up. Don’t hesitate to sign up for multiple shifts if you’re available!

How to sign up?

  • You can go straight to the Google sheet and enter your name for a shift. 
  • You can email sisterhoodfoodarama@gmail.com, tell us your name and what shift you’re volunteering for, and we’ll get your name on the list.

Either way, we'll send you a confirmation a week in advance with any relevant instructions or reminders. Questions? Send any questions to sisterhoodfoodarama@gmail.com and one of the Food-A-Rama co-chairs (Brad Kahn, Sharon Kahn, or David Bookstaff) will respond. Thanks so much for volunteering! 

  • Matzah balls (Sunday, October 2, 10:00 am–1:00 pm) AT UW HILLEL
  • Chicken soup (either Monday, October 3 or Thursday, October 6, 6:30–9:00 pm) TBE kitchen
  • Cabbage soup making (Friday, October 7, 8:30 am–12:30 pm) TBE kitchen
  • Chicken soup packaging (Saturday, October 8, 2:00–5:00 pm) TBE kitchen
