Potluck Passover Seder

Wednesday, April 5, 2023 14 Nisan 5783

6:00 PM - 9:00 PMFrank Adult Lounge

There will be two Passover seders this year at TBE, giving you a choice of ways to celebrate Passover with us.

The Passover Haggadah relates the story of five rabbis who once debated the meaning of Passover all night, until it was time to recite the morning prayers. Our first night seder this year will not last until dawn, but it will allow participants to explore informally and more fully the many meanings of this holiday.

On the first night of Passover, Wednesday, April 5, join TBE members for an intimate evening of discussion and delicious dining as we engage one another in no-limits learning. Our seder will begin at 6:00 pm and will have a flexible end time, giving us ample time to debate and discuss this important day in our people's life. Attendance is limited to the first 25 TBE members who register. We will ask participants to bring a vegetable dish or dessert to pass (no chametz, please!). A vegetarian entree (vegan on request) will be provided, along with all the traditional foods of the seder. Your contributions may include kitniyot (legumes, beans, seeds, etc.). Please contact Rabbi Jonathan Biatch for information and suggestions.

You may also join us on the second night of Passover, Thursday, April 6, 6:00–9:00 pm, for our traditional community seder, when we welcome all who desire to celebrate Passover with one another.

Please log-in and register below to join us on the first night of Passover.
