Food Sustainability: A Conversation with Dave Heide (Sisterhood Program)

Dave Heide, the chef at Liliana’s Restaurant, will entertain us with stories of his experiences as a chef and will introduce us to Little John’s, an innovative project that will be a “pay what you can” restaurant, part of a small but growing movement around the globe intended to get good food to those who otherwise could not afford it while growing community by also attracting customers who can pay market price for their meals. Heide will address the three major pillars of food sustainability, food access, and job training that are all part of his Little John’s initiative, scheduled to become a reality in the coming year.

Everyone is welcome to attend this program—you do not need to be a Sisterhood member.
