A Sweet Taste of Freedom: Passover Program for Families with Young Children

Sunday, March 29, 2026 11 Nisan 5786

11:00 AM - 12:30 PMSocial Hall

Engage as a family and Families with Young Children community through an interactive Passover experience. We’ve deconstructed the Passover seder and Exodus story and will explore the parts with chocolate, fun, and games as we cross the Red Sea and wander through the desert/dessert of stations. We’ll celebrate our freedom with a chametz-filled pizza lunch (since it’s not actually Passover yet).

Join us to learn about and prepare for the upcoming Passover (Pesach) holiday using different types of sweets, arts and crafts, movement and so much more to represent parts of Passover. We’ll also have some take-home resources for kids and their grown-ups alike to help you continue to prepare for the holiday at home or ideas to bring to your seder tables.

Please lend a hand! We can use a few parents or grandparents to help with some of the stations along with setup and clean-up. Please reach out to Aleeza Hoffert if you’re able to volunteer.

Find our accessibility measures and visitor guide on our in-person information page.
